CC&R Review Rewrite

The Cedar Pass Ranch HOA Board has created a committee with the task of reviewing the current HOA CC&Rs and presenting suggested changes to the HOA board at the monthly HOA meetings. The purpose of the committee is to create a document that better serves the current and future neighborhood, is easy to navigate and find information, is as unobtrusive to residents' property rights as possible while still maintaining the peace and character of the neighborhood, and upholds the Cedar Pass Ranch HOA Mission Statement. Committee meetings will be open to members of the HOA (see schedule below) where they can observe the process and give input regarding the sections being discussed. During the meetings, the committee will follow the Rules of Order to allow the meetings to be conducted as efficiently as possible.

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: PLEASE READ!!

The COVID-19 restrictions have prevented open meetings. Your CC&R Update Committee has been
meeting weekly during this unprecedented time to keep our work moving forward and draft proposed
language for discussion and voting at future open meetings. The virtual meetings have been conducted
using Zoom, a virtual meeting platform. The Committee has been working through Article VII, Use and Restrictions. The current topics include Hazardous Activities, Garage Sales, and Erosion and Dust Control.
The Committee has voted to conduct a test of this virtual meeting platform that is open to all HOA members on Monday, May 18, 2020 at 6:30 pm. Our Rules for Open Meetings will apply and will be reviewed at the beginning of the meeting. You should plan for approximately a 90-minute meeting.
For security reasons and to prevent any misuse of the meeting by non-members, you will be required to pre-register in order to participate. To receive an invitation to participate, please send the following information to CPRHOACCR@gmail.com.
1) Your first and last name 2) The email address to which the invitation will be sent 3) Your lot number
This email address will be used solely for Zoom meeting registration and meeting invitation purposes. The required information allows an invitation to be sent to you and provides a method to verify your HOA membership. Your meeting invitation will include a link to join the meeting, a meeting ID number, and a password. Please make note of the ID number and password; you will need them to sign in after you click on the meeting link.
Your pre-registration deadline for this test meeting is no later than 7 pm, Friday, May 15, 2020. We suggest you visit zoom.us.com in advance of the meeting where you will find simple instructions there that will allow you to set up your preferences for meeting participation. How-to videos are also readily available via YouTube. Thank you! We hope you will be able to join us.
